Call for Participation

The 2003 International Workshop on Description Logics continues the tradition of international workshops devoted to discussing developments and applications of knowledge representation formalisms based on Description Logics. It is the 16th in the series of international workshops. Demonstrations of Description Logics systems and Description Logics-based applications will be possible and people interested are encouraged to get in touch with the organizers.

Proceedings

Accepted papers are printed in the workshop proceedings. The proceedings will be electronically published as CEUR-Workshop Proceedings at http://CEUR-WS.org/Vol-81/. At the workshop, a hard copy of the proceedings will be handed out to the participants.


Important Dates

Paper submission deadline: June 1, 2003
Notification of acceptance: June 30, 2003
Camera ready papers due: July 22, 2003
Registration opens: July 11, 2003

Workshop Program

The workshop will begin on Friday morning September 5, and will continue with invited talks, technical sessions, and a panel session through Sunday morning September 7. It will end with a general discussion on Sunday before lunch.

The social program includes a welcome reception at Trimani Wine Bar on Friday September 5, and a social dinner at Restaurant Unione Sarda on Saturday September 6.

Registration Information

Participation to the workshop is by invitation only. If you wish to participate and you have not already submitted a paper or a statement of interest, please contact the organizers at dl03@dis.uniroma1.it.

Workshop participants should register as follows:

  1. send an email to dl03@dis.uniroma1.it with subject: DL'03 registration - surname name
  2. pay the registration fee via credit card by filling out the credit card form and faxing it to the number +39-0471-315-649.
    On site cash payment is also possible, but in any case send the registration email.
The registration fee is 180.00 Euro and includes proceedings, coffee breaks, lunches, welcome reception, and social dinner.


Local Information and Accommodation

The DL'03 workshop will be held in Rome at the Centro Congressi "La Sapienza", Via Salaria 113 (very close to Piazza Fiume), in the same location as the Dipartimento di Informatica e Sistemistica (map of DIS location).
